Think Before You Flush!
In collaboration with the charity, Clean Coasts, and the national water organisation in Ireland, as a group we were tasked with designing and building ideas for a variety of toilets. this was all in conjunction for Clean Coasts’ ‘Think Before You Flush’ campaign.
The think before you flush campaign was made to raise awareness about what not to flush down your toilet.
Concept and Ideation
To start off the project our group visited the main water treatment facility in Dublin. From this we got an insight towards what is flushed down toilets on a daily basis
We then tasked ourselves with coming up with unique and eye-catching concepts. Humour, educate and shock became some of our key areas for these ideas.
Development
After multiple meetings with our client and deciding on what concepts to bring forward, we got to work on bringing these ideas to life.
Final Outcome
Our final display consisted of four toilets.
Two posted at Connolly Station and two at Heuston Station. The reason for this being that these spaces see the most amount of public viewers.
The campaign became quite a success and raised a lot of awareness that was unknown to a lot of the population.
